Appointments
How do I book an appointment?
If you would like to book an appointment then please call the practice on 0208 9854547 or alternatively pop in to the practice.
How long will my appointment be?
On average an examination appointment can take 15 minutes. All treatments can be varied lengths of time. For more details its best to discuss this at your appointment with your dentist.
When can I bring my child to the dentist?
We are happy to see children at any age at E8 Dental Care. It's a good idea to start to bring them as soon as their milk teeth start to appear. They will get used to the environment and the dentist. After the first visit the dentist will advise how frequently to come back for regular check ups. (please be aware that the practice is on the first and second floors it is advisable to plan ahead for your visit if you are visiting with push chairs)
I need to cancel my appointment but the surgery is closed what can I do?
If you need to contact the practice outside of the opening hours simply leave a voicemail on our answering machine and we will receive it and respond the following working day.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are always happy to accept new patients.
Do you have disabled access?
The practice is located on the first and second floors and unfortunately we do not have disabled access.
Treatments
I have lots of staining on my teeth, can anything be done?
Yes. At E8 Dental Care we offer a stain removal service. We aim to remove as much staining as possible. Common causes of staining are coffee, wine, cola and strong coloured foods such as curry. This type of staining is called extrinsic staining. Staining can come back depending on frequency of eating and drinking strong coloured items.
Over time enamel can wear away which then exposes the yellowy coloured dentine underneath. This yellow colour cannot be removed by stain removal system.

I don't like the silver fillings in my mouth, can I get them changed?
We do offer the changing of fillings from silver to the more aesthetic white fillings. In order for us to do this you will need to have an assessment with your dentist first so that they can check if it is suitable to do so.
I have wonky teeth and I would like to get them straightened, can this be done?
We do not offer orthodontic treatment at the practice but your dentist can refer you to an orthodontic practice. Please book an appointment for an assessment so that the referral can be written.
Can I get implants at the practice?
Unfortunately we do not offer implants here but your dentist will be happy to refer you to practice that does. Simply make an appointment with your dentist for the referral to be made.
